AeroGrow AeroGarden

Wow, the AeroGrow Aero Garden is just about the greatest thing I've ever had in my kitchen! I have always wanted to try indoor gardening. This Aerogrow kitchen garden will allow you to grow herbs, or just about anything else, indoors. No muss, no fuss, and it doesn't matter what the weather is like outside. Living in the northern U.S, our outdoor gardening season is pretty short.

The AeroGarden kitchen garden is a hydroponic gardening system. There is no dirt required. The seeds are put in water in the base, along with nutrients. The plants grow about twice as fast as they do in dirt. This is totally foolproof. There is no need for pesticides or herbicides, since this is indoors. (Caution, you may need to protect it from you cat! There is a shelf rack unit that could work for this.) There is a grow light in the canopy. The AeroGarden also tells you when you need to add water or nutrients. There is even a 100% guarantee.

The AeroGrow AeroGarden comes in several different shapes and sizes, and all operate the same. This is a completely automatic indoor gardening system. There is an herb kit included, with seeds for Italian basil, purple basil, chives, dill, mint, parsley and thyme. You can  seed kits, including a salad green seed kit, chili peppers seed kit, and a cascading petunias seed kit.

I haven't experimented much, but you could grow just about any plant in this, as long as it fits in the unit. Cherry tomatoes do work well. If you are an outdoor gardener, you can also use the AeroGrow Aero Garden to germinate seeds for later planting outdoors. No matter how you look at it, the AeroGarden is a low-cost, convenient way to grow plants indoors!
